This creative, efficient, New York City based commercial/short-form film editor originally studied Film Production and Humanities at the Univ. of Colorado in Boulder.

After working production jobs for both TV and Film, Steve served as 1st Assistant Editor on a feature headed for Cannes, and caught the editing bug.  It wasn’t long before he left his drum set behind, and moved out East.  

In the following 10,000 hours, Steve gained extensive experience editing a wide variety of content: commercials, half-hour animated episodes for Disney Junior, web content, presentation videos, short documentaries, promos, music videos, and even claymation.  Sometimes, the projects required distilling the message of 60 hours of footage, and sometimes they called for making something out of “nothing.” 

Steve left Outside Editorial at the end of 2013, worked freelance for three and a half years, and joined Harbor Pictures editorial roster in early 2017.

Clients agree, whether in the cross-fire of a busy edit room, working on set, or operating independently, Steve gets the job done creatively, quickly, and with great attention to the clients’ needs.

Steve has collaborated with advertising agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis, 72 and Sunny, McgarryBowen, Y&R, Havas Worldwide, BBDO, Leo Burnett, Tonic, Adrenaline, The Martin Agency, Cronin, Pure Growth, Gramercy Park Studios; and other entities such as Disney Junior, Alucia Productions, Frye Boots, the National Basketball Association, Mtv, The Webby Awards, and Nickelodeon.
